Trinity College strikes in G3 Hampton Court Stakes

Son of Dubawi leads home a Darley-sired 1-2-3

Trinity College, a three-year-old son of Dubawi, won his first Stakes race on Thursday 19 June when landing the G3 Hampton Court Stakes. Run over ten furlongs at Royal Ascot, he made all the running to defeat two sons of Too Darn Hot in Tornado Alert and Glittering Legend.

A progressive colt, Trinity College came here on the back of a close fourth in the Prix du Jockey Club earlier this month.

Bred by Coolmore, Trinity College is a son of the dual G1 winner Hermosa, who is a full sister to dual G1 winner Hydrangea (who has also produced two Stakes winners by Dubawi).

Dubawi has now sired 17 Black Type winners in 2025, more than any other stallion in the world. They are led by G1 winners Lead Artist and Walk Of Stars as well as Group winners Rebel’s Romance, Imperial Emperor, Dubai Future (placed in the Gold Cup earlier in the afternoon), Zanzoun and Delacroix
