Night Of Thunder’s red-hot form continued as his daughter Thunder Sea landed the Listed Lanwades Stud Stakes over 1600m at Ovrevoll on Sunday, 24 August.
Bred by Malcom Green, Thunder Sea was a 140,000gns purchase as a yearling. Her dam Tidal Moon (Sea The Stars) is a half-sister to Stakes winner Hotel Du Cap.
Night Of Thunder is enjoying an incredible year with 24 individual Stakes winners. He currently leads the UK/IRE Sires’ Championship by just under £1 million following a brilliant victory by his four-year-old colt Ombudsman in the G1 Juddmonte International.
