Impressive juvenile Group winner for Ghaiyyath

My Highness lands the G2 Prix du Calvados

Ghaiyyath’s promising juvenile daughter My Highness made it three wins on the bounce with an impressive performance in the G2 Prix du Calvados over seven furlongs at Deauville on Sunday, 24 August.

Settled in rear, My Highness travelled strongly throughout the contest, and found plenty when asked for her finishing effort in the final two furlongs with Too Darn Hot’s Fitzella chasing her down in second.

A Godolphin homebred, My Highness is the fifth foal out of Kheleyf mare Majestic Queen, making her a three-parts sister to German Stakes scorer Maria Amalia.

My Highness is one of several exciting horses for Ghaiyyath, including Listed Sir Henry Cecil Stakes winner Opera Ballo, and Classic-placed filly Mandanaba.
