Dubawi’s brilliant start to 2022 continued on Thursday, 10 March when siring a Stakes double at Saint-Cloud in France.
First to salute the judge was his brilliant son The Revenant, who won his seventh Stakes race in the Listed Prix Altipan over a mile. The winner of the G1 Queen Elizabeth II Stakes in 2020, The Revenant was not hard-pressed to beat his paternal half-brother Midtown by three lengths.
Dubawi was quick to record his double as one race later his three-year-old daughter Agave was the easy winner of the Listed Prix Rose de Mai. A Juddmonte-homebred, Agave had little trouble remaining unbeaten when recording a three-length triumph. She holds Classic entries in the G1 Poule d’Essai des Pouliches and the G1 Prix de Diane.

Dubawi has now sired 12 Stakes winners in 2022, five clear of his nearest rival. They are headed by G2 winners Lazuli, Naval Crown, Creative Flair, plus a trio of G3 winners from Saturday in Desert Wisdom, Eastern World and In Italian.
