Cajole, a three-year-old daughter of Dubawi, gained a valuable first Stakes victory on Saturday, 4 October when winning the Listed October Stakes at Ascot. She was always prominent in the seven furlong contest, and held on well near the line to deny Dash Of Azure (Blue Point) and Bright Thunder (Night Of Thunder).
Owned and bred by Cheveley Park Stud, she is a daughter of the Dark Angel mare Persuasive, whose biggest day on the track was winning the G1 Queen Elizabeth II Stakes in 2017.
Dubawi has now sired 28 Black Type winners in 2025. They are led by nine-time G1 winner Rebel’s Romance, Classic hero Notable Speech, who won his third G1 in the Woodbine Mile, and Irish Champion Stakes hero Delacroix.
